GM just announced that their Pontiac division will be shut down. It's a necessary step and while I have always felt that the products that came out of the division were excellent (G6/Solstice), this is what happens when you try to spread yourself too thin.Of course, the G6 is a re-skinned Malibu and you can still buy the solstice as a Saturn Sky (which I think is an even better looking car).
Amazing how fast the auto industry is changing.
